The Howlong Tennis Club is beaming with pride as we celebrate a phenomenal season of tennis! A massive congratulations goes to our 3A Black team for an incredible achievement: winning the Hume Pennant for the third consecutive year. It all came down to the mixed doubles, where Howlong Black pulled ahead of Howlong Red to secure a 78–62 victory.
This victory was a true team effort, with Madeline Hofer, Adrianne Howlett, Robyn Statham, Emily Breden, Alannah Cusack, Brady Hofer, Austin Statham, Jack Breden, Phill Kiely, Sean Fischer and Sam Robertson all contributing throughout the season to secure the title. We also celebrate 3A Red for their impressive performance as runners-up.
A huge well done to both Howlong teams for making the Grand Final. We’re so proud of all our players for competing so hard throughout the season and representing the club so brilliantly.
